A cask-strength Grande Champagne cognac, enhanced by Banyuls

Just like Citadelle enthusiasts with Thé French, or Planteray fans with our single cask Hot Sauce finish, Cognac lovers who visit us at Château de Bonbonnet are in for a treat!

Ferrand Cognac is delighted to exclusively offer a brand-new single cask of 100% Grande Champagne cognac, crafted from our flagship grape variety, Ugni Blanc.

For this special release, this Vintage 2012, available in just 276 numbered bottles, has matured in a former Banyuls cask, which has enriched its fruity and "rancio" notes typical of Grande Champagne, with a unique aromatic dimension, characterised by delicate aromas of jammy red fruits - strawberries and cherries - as well as a natural sweetness that enhances its notes of prunes and walnuts.

Bottled at cask-strength at 51.7% ABV, a deliberate choice to preserve all its complexity, this cognac also stands out for its remarkable length on the palate and an exceptional balance between aromatic richness and approachability, while its amber colour bears witness to its patient ageing.

While Maison Ferrand recently celebrated the inauguration of its Citadelle distillery, the label of this single cask honours another important moment that is particularly dear to our hearts: our annual harvest day.
