As every year, Maison Ferrand will be present at Whisky Live Paris, the must-attend event gathering spirits enthusiasts and professionals. For the 2024 edition - marking the event's 20th anniversary - we delighted to be able to share where you can come and meet us at the show.

In addition to the traditional tasting stands for Planteray, Canerock - our Jamaican rum infused with natural spices - Citadelle Gin and Ferrand Cognac, join us for several special events dedicated to sharing and discovery.

Round table discussion on the concepts of origin and terroir in rum

Saturday, September 28th, from 5 PM to 6 PM.

A first for Whisky Live Paris: round table discussions will be organized to discuss contemporary issues in the world of spirits. Our Master Blender and Master Distiller Alexandre Gabriel will take part in a debate on the concept of terroir in rum and the influence of different origins.

For this exciting debate, he will be joined by Marc Sassier (Saint-James). Journalist Christine Lambert will chair this discussion, which promise to be incredibly exciting and illuminating!

Discover two Planteray Single Cask Prestige cuvées + two cask strength samples from Barbados

Monday, September 30th (professionals only): from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM.

Join us and discover our new collection of Prestige Single Casks during one of the two masterclasses of this year. What is it about you ask? These are exceptionally unique casks - the rarest from our cellars - selected directly by our distributors.

During the masterclass, we will present two out of the four cuvées carefully chosen by La Maison du Whisky from our Chai Satgé, which houses these extremely rare rums so dear to our hearts. Each of these cuvées pays tribute to a different distillery, as well as to the distillation apparatus used - pot still or column still. Specifically, we will unveil the following rums from our home in the Caribbean, Stade’s West Indies Rum Distillery:  Barbados 2004, as well as a special edition for Whisky Live Paris 2024: Barbados 2022 High Ester. To end this exceptional tasting, we will sample two cask strength rums from the distillery:  heavy Rockley sample and cane juice rum.

Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in the V.I.P area

Lucky holders of access to the  V.I.P area will get acquainted with the fascinating world of Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery.

We will share the expertise and diversity of rums that can be produced in Barbados, the birthplace of rum, from which we have brought several expressions made 100% from each still of the distillery - among which are authentic legends of rum history! Come dream while tasting the first drops of Rockley, the oldest rum still in Barbados, whose restoration required 2,000 hours of work after 50 years of inactivity. Or the production from our Vulcan dating from the first part of the 19th century and the only original model of its kind in the world. A true invitation to escape and the promise of exceptional and memorable experiences in every way.

Citadelle Gin at the Cocktail Street

Finally, don't hesitate to stop by for a cocktail at the Citadelle stand located in Cocktail Street. On-site, Antoine, Grégory and Timothée, the three bartenders from the Frida bar in Bordeaux, will make Citadelle Gin, named best French Gin at the World Gin Awards shine through their inventive recipes, not one to be missed!
