At our home in Ars, Cognac a new workshop has opened on the grounds of Chateau de Bonbonnet. Under the keen guidance of our Master Coppersmith, Gaylord Urbain, the space is turning into a workshop of excellent and dedication to finessing the fine art of distillation.
Knowledge sharing among teams is at the heart of our DNA at Maison Ferrand. These exchanges between worlds of excellence always offer us exceptional moments. This is illustrated by Fannie, Research and Creation Manager in Cognac, and Dario from Stade's West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados.
Maison Ferrand will be present at Rhum Fest Paris from 4 to 6 May 2024 with a programme of masterclasses, as well as an exceptional competition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the fair, with a unique barrel of Barge 166 up for grabs!

Planteray Cut & Dry, our artisanal coconut-infused rum from Barbados, is now available worldwide. Its release also marks the evolution of Plantation Rum's brand identity towards its new name, Planteray Rum!
We recently celebrated an incredible milestone at the West Indies Rum Distillery (WIRD) – our 130th anniversary! - blending history, music, family, art, and the introduction of a special anniversary rum into a memorable event.
Embodying our motto "Together we are better", we invited 50 bartenders to join us for a collaborative exploration of Barbados' rums and cocktails!
