The story of the French 75 is closely tied to World War I. Named after the first modern French artillery gun, this cocktail has become a time-tested classic. Although the recipe changed over time before reaching its final form, one thing never changed: the gin.
At Château de Bonbonnet in Charente we are now growing some of the citrus needed to craft Citadelle gin. This initiative bridges the gap between the earth and the glass, born of our desire to better understand and highlight these essential gin botanicals.
